I don’t think too much about what I’m going to wear, I just put on whatever makes me feel good with big jewelry and giant heels. It’s not as much about the clothes I’m wearing, it’s about how they make me feel. I like feeling confident, unique and let’s be serious – slightly over-the-top!

I recently came across these photos from the creation of the Statue of Liberty (over 125 years ago!) and was blown away. My favorites are the pictures of the lady being constructed in Frederic Auguste Bartholdi’s Parisian warehouse. Can you imagine creating something so grand?

I first became aware of Don Weir around 2009… someone had forwarded me his blogroll; DETOUR DESIGN. He had posted some haunting imagery from a book about Asylums and I was hooked. Shortly thereafter, I was introduced to Don and his STAG crew via Michael “ACL” Williams. I have been trying to find an excuse to sell him something ever since. As original cheerleaders of imogene + willie (long before we had “officially” launched a wholesale division), the STAG crew have been staunch supporters and dedicated disciples of the brand ethos. Three cheers for collective consciousness, and thanks for sharing your secrets, Don!

If you’re anything like me, reading really long blogs is not a favorite past time. I much prefer looking through thousands of nicely curated photos and wasting my time that way. So when I found Silodrome Gasoline Culture a year or so ago, I was instantly attracted to their ability to keep words to a minimum and couple those words with great iconic photos. They even featured our Carter Coltrane just a few months ago. Needless to say we were not only honoured but incredibly grateful to be on such a great site as Silodrome!
